This position will report to the Security Operations organization and provide support for customers, applications, systems, and vendors across security operations, administration, and general maintenance. The role directly supports CBTS's compliance strategies and objectives through the execution of both technical and functional responsibilities. This individual will help mitigate physical and cyber risks, ensuring the protection of customer information, systems, products, facilities, and assets.. Essential Functions. Security Implementation and Operations (60%). Operationalize compliance policies and deliver daily security support. Administer security applications and infrastructure. Conduct and assist with vulnerability scans. Patch and report on in-scope environments. Perform maintenance on security applications and infrastructure. Perform incident/event response and support documentation. Review access to systems, applications, and facilities. Assist with vendor support. Interact with internal technology leadership. Innovative Solutions (10%). Design and recommend creative technical solutions to mitigate security risks. Risk Management (10%). Identify and address potential security threats across environments. Compliance Management (10%). Support the organization in meeting external regulatory and compliance requirements. Policy & Standards Development (10%). Contribute to the creation of industry-aligned security policies and standards. Qualifications. Education:. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience:. Minimum of 4 years of IT experience, including hands-on work in security and compliance. Special Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities. Technical expertise in network, compute, and/or application security. Strong understanding of the OSI model. Effective verbal and written communication and presentation skills. Highly inquisitive, self-motivated, and creative problem solver. Strong planning, organizational, and documentation skills. Self-starter with the ability to work independently and take initiative.
