Sr. Information Security Engineer- Cloud (GCP) at O’Reilly Auto Parts. Location Information: Remote Missouri, United States. . Compensation Pay Range:. $110,000.00 - $165,000.00. The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation includes annual, quarterly performance, or premiums may be paid in amounts ranging per hour in specific circumstances. The Cloud Security Engineer will have a passion for managing corporate security along with a desire to relentlessly champion best practices. This role is responsible for performing all functions required to support day-to-day data security operations, supporting and maintaining a broad suite of information security infrastructure, accountable for security and networking infrastructure component availability and integrity, monitoring compliance with IT security policy. Participate in the planning, design, installation, and maintenance of security systems in support of security policies.. This role can be worked remotely in the United States with travel to Springfield, MO as requested. . ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS. 5+ years of experience in information security with a strong focus on GCP.. Works with the Manager of Information Security to define the security direction for the organization, including systems, networks, user services, and vendor development efforts.. Manages and leads complex projects and assumes ongoing support of security operations and systems.. Design, implement, support, and evaluate GCP Cloud security-focused tools and services.. Design, implement, and manage security controls and solutions within the Google Cloud Platform environment.. Configure and manage GCP security services such as Cloud Security Command Center (SCC), VPC Service Controls, Cloud Armor, Secret Manager, and Cloud KMS.. Establish network security controls in GCP, including network policies, and private network connectivity.. Implement and maintain data protection measures, including encryption at rest and in transit, data loss prevention (DLP), and data masking techniques.. Monitor and analyze security logs and alerts to identify and respond to security incidents.. Automate security tasks and processes using scripting languages and infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform, Python).. Participate in . incident response. activities for security events related to GCP.. Collaborate with engineering, operations, and development teams to ensure security is integrated throughout the development lifecycle (. DevSecOps. )..
