The Senior Director of Identity and Access Management (IAM) will provide technical expertise, leadership, and support of the daily activities of the IAM Team, providing worldwide support for internal customer questions, incidents, and services related user access for all systems. This role reports to the CrowdStrike internal cybersecurity team and supports CrowdStrike’s functions worldwide, ensuring services are delivered in a customer-focused approach.. What You’ll Do: . The Senior Director of IAM will be responsible for the global identity and access management architecture, systems and related services. This role leads the IAM division, managing a team that supports platform Identity and access for enterprise services such as ERP, CRM, HRIS, SaaS, Network and private/public cloud environments.. The Senior Director of IAM will be responsible for establishing and refining the processes, techniques, tools, and methods used by the IAM team to provide exceptional support and services to internal and external customers. Their approach will need to focus on security first, providing a positive customer experience by ensuring efficient process workflows and services are timely and accurate on a daily basis.. Manage key relationships to ensure services are aligned to business requirements. Ensure customer service is timely and accurate on a daily basis. Contribute to improving customer support by actively responding to queries and handling complaints. Manage, build and develop a globally deployed IAM team supporting IAM related technologies such as SAML, multi-factor authentication, single sign-on and authentication integration with key enterprise systems. Develop strong relationships with business colleagues to fully understand and deliver solutions to meet their business needs, while using diplomacy and relationships to advance our risk management program.. Ensure compliance with information security standards, policies and procedures. Communicate and implement industry best practices for zero-trust based solutions deployed in the information security space.. Effectively measures user satisfaction with IAM services and works to continuously improve customer satisfaction over time. Establishes the organization strategy and works to recruit, develop and build top technical talent with the soft skills to provide world class customer service. Present projects for management approval; approve overall solution, designs and cost estimates for projects. Monitor project status to assure adherence to cost, quality and schedule. Set specific service level expectations and measure performance against them. Collaborating with leadership and subject matter experts within the organization on projects or initiatives. Establish best practices through the entire technical services process. Guide the implementation, continuous improvement and documentation of new and existing policies, procedures and processes for IT systems. In partnership with the business, InfoSec and Applications maintain a Service Catalog. Lead the efforts in automating and optimizing IAM related self-service programs that provide customers with an efficient and effective workflow. What You’ll Need:. Experience with Risk Management and Information Security strategy, practices, technologies, and tools. Experience managing Cloud identities and implementing secure SSO strategies. Experience with Information Security frameworks and standards, such as NIST, SOC 2, ISO 27001BSc degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or relevant field Masters preferred. Minimum 10-years’ experience in a technical service related field with a minimum of 7+ years proven work experience as a people manager, preferably with globally distributed teams. 5-7 years of directly related experience including working with enterprise IDM products, commercial IAM products for a sizable enterprise (preferably 5,000+ employees/identities), user provisioning, and developing solutions for Identity Management, SingleSign-On & Reduced Sign-On, and Cloud Access Management. Successful track record designing, developing, and executing critical complex projects in more than one area of functional expertise. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships at the Senior Management level across functional groups and business units. Adeptness to change the thinking of, or gain acceptance from, others in sensitive situations, using influence and preventing damage to the relationships. Solid technical background with an ability to give instructions to a non-technical audience. Customer-service oriented with a problem-solving attitude.
