You’ll analyze, design, and implement data pipeline features and infrastructure improvements.. . You’ll write efficient, well-tested code and conduct unit and integration testing.. . You’ll build and optimize data ingestion and ETL/ELT processes.. . You’ll participate in end-to-end project delivery—from ideation to production.. . You’ll identify and resolve anomalies and bugs in existing systems.. . You’ll collaborate cross-functionally with security and product teams to embed security and compliance best practices into development processes.. . You’ll contribute to the team’s agility, quality, and automation efforts (CI/CD, testing, deployment).. . You’ll evaluate and advise on technical design and development decisions.. . You’ll surface and communicate risks related to technology, security, or operations.. . . What your resume shows. . Must Haves. . . 6+ years of experience in data engineering, data warehousing, or ETL development. . 3+ years of experience in Apache Spark or Databricks. . 2+ years of experience with AWS cloud services. . 2+ years of experience building, deploying, and optimizing data ingestion pipelines. . Experience working directly with internal and external stakeholders. . A bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or equivalent practical experience. . . Nice to Haves. . . Experience with real-time data streaming (e.g., Flink, Spark Structured Streaming, Kafka Streams). . Familiarity with tools such as Apache Kafka, Delta Lake, Apache Hive, Apache Impala, Apache Beam. . Experience working in a startup environment. . Azure cloud experience. .
