As a Senior Security Architect, you will play a critical role in shaping the security posture of our infrastructure, applications, and cloud environments. You’ll work across IT and business teams to embed security into the design of systems and ensure alignment with business goals, risk tolerance, and industry best practices. . What You’ll Do . Develop secure-by-design architectures for applications, APIs, data systems, and cloud infrastructure . Partner with product, infrastructure, and engineering teams to ensure secure system design and integration . Provide subject matter expertise and strategic guidance for cloud, application, data, identity, and infrastructure security . Conduct security architecture reviews, threat modeling, and risk assessments . Mentor engineers and architects to elevate security practices across the organization . Contribute to the development and evolution of enterprise security strategy and reference architectures . Evaluate and recommend security tools and technologies . Advocate for secure development practices and support secure SDLC/. DevSecOps. initiatives . Provide security guidance for high-risk systems such as AI/ML workloads, SaaS platforms, and payment systems . Help enforce principles like zero trust, least privilege, and secure IAM practices . We’re Looking for Someone Who Has . A bachelor’s degree in computer science, cybersecurity, CIS/MIS, or related field—or equivalent combination of equivalent education, training, or experience.. 4+ years of experience in security roles, including extensive experience with secure infrastructure and application design or equivalent education, training, or experience.. Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, GCSA, or AWS Security Specialty ​. Expertise in cloud architecture (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS), DevSecOps, and container security . Strong understanding of secure coding, data protection, and regulatory frameworks . Texas Mutual Pay Transparency. The base pay range is based on the market evaluation of the job and may include pay for multiple levels. Individual base pay within the range is determined by a variety of factors, including experience, performance, education, and demonstration of skills and competencies required for each role.
