As a Network Architect, you will design, implement, and maintain robust and secure network infrastructure across both on-premises and cloud environments. You will work closely with organization stakeholders to understand their business needs and translate them into technical specifications. You will also provide guidance and best practices on network architecture, security, performance, and scalability that maximizes business enablement.. The role will be both strategic in nature as engineering-focused on short/mid-term projects, while working with different technology teams to deliver core business initiatives. Design, implement, and maintain scalable network architectures for both on-premise and cloud environments. Lead network modernization efforts including SD-WAN adoption and cloud network transformation.. Develop and enforce standards for routing protocols (BGP) and VPN technologies (IPSec, SSL, client-based and site-to-site).. Architect and maintain secure remote access solutions using SASE and Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA) models.. Integrate threat prevention and intrusion detection technologies into network architecture (e.g., next-gen firewalls, IDS/IPS, DLP).. Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to ensure network designs align with organizational security policies.. Troubleshoot complex networking issues across data centers, branch offices, and cloud platforms.. Document network designs, configurations, and policies for internal teams and audit compliance.. Provide mentorship and guidance to network engineers and junior team members.. Participate in business continuity planning, including DR site design and failover strategies.. Qualifications. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; or equivalent experience.. 7+ years of experience in network engineering and architecture, including on-prem and cloud networks.. In-depth knowledge of network protocols and services: TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, MPLS, DNS, DHCP, SSL, VPN, etc.. Hands-on experience with SD-WAN technologies (Cisco Meraki, Fortinet).. Expertise in VPN implementation and management (IPSec, SSL, remote access, site-to-site).. Comprehensive experience with cloud-native networking solutions (Azure, AWS). Proficiency with monitoring tools such as LogicMonitor, SYSLOG, NetFlow, Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights.. Strong understanding of SASE, ZTNA, and cloud-based security frameworks.. Knowledge of automation and scripting tools (Terraform, Ansible, Python) a plus.. Understanding of regulatory requirements such as PCI, HIPAA, SOC and SOX..
