Lead regulatory strategy and enablement. for Okta's offerings in regulated industries, aligning our products and processes with frameworks such as FedRAMP, FISMA, HIPAA, SOX, NIST 800-53, and CMMC.. . Translate complex regulatory obligations. into scalable controls, automated tooling, and product features that support customer assurance and internal governance.. . Influence product and engineering roadmaps. to align platform capabilities with the evolving needs of regulated markets—including defense, public sector, and critical infrastructure.. . Enable audit readiness and compliance transparency. by designing frameworks, documentation, and evidence strategies that reduce friction for customers and auditors alike.. . Anticipate emerging trends. in policy and regulation (e.g., executive orders, AI risk frameworks, zero trust mandates) and drive internal preparedness and strategic alignment.. . Represent Okta as a regulatory subject matter expert. in customer engagements, industry forums, and executive briefings—building confidence and communicating value.. . . Qualifications. . . 12+ years of experience in compliance, risk, audit, or technical program management within cloud or SaaS environments—at least 5 of those in regulated industries.. . Deep working knowledge of frameworks such as FedRAMP, FISMA, HIPAA, SOX, NIST 800-53, and PCI-DSS.. . Proven experience building and operationalizing compliance programs at scale, including automation, identity governance, and security monitoring.. . Strong technical fluency and the ability to collaborate with Engineering and Security teams to implement complex regulatory requirements.. . Exceptional stakeholder management skills with a history of influencing cross-functional teams and executives in matrixed organizations.. . Prior audit or advisory experience at a Big Four or comparable firm is a strong plus.. . Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Accounting, or a related field; CPA, CISA, CISSP, or other certifications preferred.. Success in This Role Looks Like:. . . Below is the annual base salary range for candidates located in California, Colorado, New York and Washington.
