Business Process Analyst . on our team, you'll use your experience to work with VA to discover and mitigate their cybersecurity risks, understand and apply policies to address requests for information on cyber best practices, and conduct modified risk assessments. You will provide information system security expertise to ensure the appropriate operational security posture is maintained for research information systems and research study protocols. Join us as we protect our nation's cyber infrastructure. This position is open to remote delivery anywhere within the U.S., to include the District of Columbia.. Must Have: . . 5 years' experience with policy development utilizing NIST special publications, specifically RMF and NIST security controls (SP 800-37, 800-53).. . Experienced in applying information security and assurance principles.. . Experience in security policy-driven approach for various modalities.. . Experience with reviewing and replying to Requests for Information from research partners utilizing current VA Handbooks, Directives, and NIST guidance within a standardized timeframe.. . Experience performing risk analysis, vulnerability assessments, and performing annual security reviews in accordance with FISMA reporting.. . Ability to provide expert Microsoft Office skills, specifically in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint.. . Ability to communicate with key stakeholders, process owners, and customers to manage expectations, eliminate gaps, and ensure success.. . Bachelor's in business and 10 years of experience or 18 years of experience in lieu of degree. . . Nice to Have: . . Experience with security considerations specific to research environments. . Knowledge of SCCM, BigFix and SCCM. . Ability to provide excellent customer service and organization skills.. . Ability to provide excellent verbal and written communication skills.. . Ability to work flexibly in a very fast-paced environment. . Preferred certifications: CAP, CISSP, CISM, PMP, CCSK. . . . . . .
