Collaborate with team members across the company. 5+ years of professional (non-internship) experience as a backend engineer, preferably in the data engineering or crypto/finance domain. Strong CS fundamentals, including algorithms, data structures, system design, and distributed systems. Deep knowledge of backend technologies, including databases, orchestrators, messaging systems, data pipelines, and more. Write high-quality code, value software testing, and uphold best practices in engineering, security, and design. Experience designing, scaling, and maintaining production systems, ideally within high-growth or early-stage environments. Strong fundamentals with a cloud platform like GCP or AWS. Able to work effectively in a remote setting and able to overlap with core hours of 9 AM to 12 PM PT / 12 - 3pm EST. Pay range:. $175K - $210K. Equity in CoinTracker.
