Business Development Manager (Salons) - Mid-Atlantic (Philadelphia/Washington, DC based) at Nutrafol. Location Information: United States. Hair wellness from within.. We’re a growing company. Create a powerful, trusting relationship with salon owners, stylists and employees. Manage rotation inclusive of both existing and new business development. Maintain strong funnel of potential new business. Work closely with Salon Director to support sell-in and sell-through strategies. Deliver in-salon presentations and product classes. Launch new salons and retail accounts. Meet new business goals. Sell new products to existing salons and spas. Achieve individual revenue goals through education and consultation with salon owners, managers, and stylists. Support retail segment sales through merchandising and promotional activities. Manage systematic meeting schedule for assigned accounts. Execute strategic education plans for each salon. Promote and assist in execution of regional and national business development and educational events. Attend company meetings and trainings. Travel up to 70% within the territory. Bachelor's degree or minimum of 3-5 years of relevant sales and retail experience. Current experience selling into professional accounts within salon/health and wellness/cosmetics categories preferred. Strong communication and presentation skills. High sales drive. Ability to prospect and close new business. Strong negotiation skills. Strategic and analytical thinking. Service oriented. Adaptable to various personality types. Competitive and collaborative. Proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook, and ability to learn new programs like Slack and Salesforce. 75% travel required, potentially 4 days per week in the field. Pay range:. $90K - $105K.
