Drive and promote reliability engineering strategy and best practices. Lead design reviews to ensure scalable and reliable systems. Stay close to technology with a hands on approach. Incorporate corporate strategy, customer needs, industry trends, and technology into plans. Actively participate across engineering, product and corporate strategy teams. Act as coach and mentor to Staff+ engineers. Promote a culture of creativity, learning, and collective success. Bring a pragmatic approach to technology driven decisions and investments. Participate in architecture design and implementation teams. Demonstrated experience in a similar role and capacity with distributed systems operating in cloud environments. Strong leadership skills, leading through influence across functional and organizational boundaries. Experience driving architecture throughout a product portfolio across a diverse technology organization. Experience in establishing and driving standardization of reliability engineering practices. Excellent communication skills to engage with both business and technical audiences. Proven track record of innovative, creative, and results-driven outcomes. Extensive experience with architecting and developing large scale distributed systems and developing enterprise level technology roadmaps. Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, or GCP).
