We provide an opinionated open source starting point for how companies should measure, analyze and share their data as well as a suite of tools to deal with the complexity that arises as they grow.. Develop deep knowledge and empathy for users needs in the areas they tackle by reviewing issues, tickets, docs, engaging in interviews, and evaluating quantitative data.. Understand the underlying mechanics of the product at a technical level, though not required to read/write code.. Develop strategies for solving clusters of users needs and delivering product documentation for designers and engineers.. Steward projects forward, maintaining focus, momentum, and re-evaluating scope while considering technical constraints and UX.. Follow up on the outcomes of shipped projects, both quantitatively and qualitatively.. Collaborate with the team, provide and seek feedback, and propose product advancements.. Exclude responsibilities such as managing people, writing code, and making mocks.. Must have enough of a technical background, preferably in data analysis, data engineering, or software engineering with database experience.. At least 4 years of experience in a product management role, having been through discovery, execution, and iteration cycles.. Experience in platform team work and API thinking may be needed depending on the role.. Must work synchronously with team members in the US West Coast, no applicants farther East than UTC+3..
