Lead end-to-end technical programs across product, engineering, data, and security, from initial scope through launch and continuous improvement. Collaborate closely with executive leaders and senior stakeholders to translate strategic vision into actionable roadmaps and align on priorities and tradeoffs. Coordinate distributed teams across time zones using strong asynchronous communication, providing structure, clarity, and consistent status updates. Develop and maintain comprehensive program plans, proactively identifying and mitigating risks and dependencies while facilitating decisions that balance speed, quality, and customer impact. Partner with customer success and cross-functional teams to refine communication plans and operational workflows. Champion GitLab's values and culture within programs, fostering collaborative excellence, continuous improvement, and innovation. Proven experience leading technical program initiatives in product, engineering, data, or security environments, with demonstrated success delivering complex programs from inception through scaled adoption. Strong background in SaaS, cloud infrastructure, or DevOps technology companies, with ability to quickly master the GitLab platform and AI/ML initiatives. Excellence in cross-functional leadership, with experience partnering with engineering, product, security teams and engaging effectively with senior and C-level stakeholders. Outstanding communication skills, including asynchronous collaboration, executive reporting, and the ability to translate technical complexity into clear business impact. Track record of success in fast-paced, dynamic environments with evolving technical requirements and market opportunities. Strong facilitation and influence skills, with ability to drive consensus across diverse stakeholder groups while building trust through transparency and delivery excellence.
