Collaborate with teams globally across multiple time zones and operate in an Agile development environment.. Deeply empathize with and understand Starburst personas.. Own cross-functional interactions for your features.. Collect and summarize usage data/dashboards for decision making and OKR tracking.. 3+ years experience as a Product Manager or Technical Product Manager.. Experience managing Lakehouse product offerings and their ecosystems (e.g., catalogs, permissions, metadata).. Proven ability to operate in a highly technical product area where trade-off choices consider engine performance and span multiple product areas.. Deep understanding of the technical landscape and markets preferred (well versed in databases, data warehousing, data lakes, and familiarity with many of the data infrastructure products in industry).. Entrepreneurial and self-motivated personality with a track record for delivering results in fast-moving environments.. Experience with query engines (e.g., Trino/Spark) or data virtualization, and how connectors impact performance, governance, and reliability is a plus.. Track record working with or around open-source communities is a plus.. Ability to Travel: This role will require 25% in-person travel for purposes including but not limited to new hire onboarding, team and department offsites, customer engagements, and other company events.
