Public Affairs Manager, Minneapolis at Flock Safety. Location Information: United States. Eliminate crime and shape a safer future, together.. Engage with external stakeholders to enhance public safety in communities.. Collaborate with cross-functional partners to engage with local elected officials, grassroots/grasstops organizations, and community leaders.. Represent Flock Safety externally, including speaking at city council meetings.. Build credibility across a variety of stakeholder audiences and develop meaningful partnerships.. Elevate the voices of our customers to advance strategic policy objectives.. Previous experience in the tech industry is preferred.. Direct experience engaging with public affairs audiences at the local executive level.. Ability to thrive and get results in a fast-paced, demanding environment.. Self-starter; intrinsically motivated with a solutions-oriented mindset.. Ability to travel on short notice and willingness to work long hours for city council meetings.. Clear communication skills on complex topics.. Sophisticated understanding of the regional political landscape at city and county level.. Ability to work in a bipartisan landscape and think creatively about political coalition building.. Public policy, business, or relevant degree/experience.. Experience managing relationships with influential community groups/organizations.. Preexisting network of relationships in the region is a strong plus.. Pay range:. $130K - $170K.
