Director, Internal Communications at M+R. Location Information: United States. We bring experience, talent, & unshakeable dedication to our nonprofit clients who are essential to advancing justice.. Develop and implement forward-thinking communications strategies.. Serve as a strategic advisor and ghostwriter for senior leaders, especially the CEO.. Drive agenda for Internal Communications Team meetings and all-staff meetings.. Serve as a strategic advisor on belonging, anti-racism, equity, and inclusion.. Develop and maintain M+R's brand identity under the Senior Creative Director's guidance.. Create opportunities to strengthen employee engagement through storytelling and communications.. Lead communications planning and development during firm-wide changes.. Support change management and stakeholder engagement for organizational changes.. Align internal messaging with branding and internal culture, monitoring employer brand reputation.. Lead teambuilding activities including conferences and retreats.. Manage content and optimize engagement through various digital and print platforms.. Undergraduate degree in communications, public relations, marketing, journalism or related field.. At least 7 years of communications experience, preferably in the nonprofit sector or professional services firm.. Exceptional storytelling, grammar, and editing skills.. Strong oral and written communication and active listening skills.. Experience in event strategy, planning, and management.. Experience in developing communication strategies for organizational change.. Experience partnering with senior leaders for building alignment and engagement.. Proven experience in collaborating and building strong relationships across teams.. Demonstrated creative and critical thinking skills for culture-building and engagement.. Strong business acumen, relationship management, strategy development and project management skills.. High degree of tact, diplomacy, discretion, and sound judgment.. Commitment to anti-racism, equity, and inclusion.. Ability to work collaboratively and maintain respect through honesty, integrity, and empathy.. Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.. Pay range:. $125K - $125K. 36-hour workweek with half-day Fridays with scheduling flexibility.. Three weeks of vacation and 17 paid sick days..
