Senior Benefits Manager at LaunchDarkly. Location Information: United States. Empowering all teams to deliver and control their software.. Own the benefits strategy and roadmap, including medical, dental, vision, life and disability, FSA/HSA, 401(k), mental health and wellness, and global/international offerings.. Lead the annual benefits renewal and open enrollment cycle, including plan design analysis, funding and cost modeling, carrier negotiation, and post-enrollment audits.. Manage broker, carrier, PEO/EOR, and third-party administrator relationships, ensuring vendors meet service levels, pricing, and employee experience standards.. Partner with Finance to forecast, budget, and report on benefits spend while identifying cost containment opportunities.. Ensure compliance with ACA, ERISA, HIPAA, COBRA, FMLA, state and local leave laws, and own required filings, notices, and audits.. Administer and optimize benefits technology, ensuring data accuracy and reconciliation of invoices and eligibility.. Serve as the escalation point for complex employee benefits, leave, and accommodation cases.. Design and deliver benefits communications and education to employees.. Evaluate benefits for new geographies and acquisitions, supporting integration of new employee populations.. Build scalable processes, documentation, and metrics for participation, cost per employee, utilization, and satisfaction.. Stay current on regulatory changes, market trends, and emerging benefits solutions.. 8+ years of progressive benefits experience.. Deep knowledge of US benefits regulations (ACA, ERISA, HIPAA, COBRA, FMLA) and health plan funding models.. Experience with benefits administration platforms and HRIS systems.. Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.. Ability to work independently and prioritize competing demands..
