Revenue Cycle Specialist at Foodsmart. Location Information: United States. Foodsmart is the largest telehealth network of registered dietitians in the country with a mission to make eating well simple.. Process and submit claims to health plans accurately and on time.. Research denied and rejected claims, make corrections, and resubmit them.. Follow up on claim statuses and resolve payment issues with health plans.. Help prepare claims and billing reports and assist in month-end close.. Participate in investigations, one-off cleanups, and special projects.. Collaborate with finance, product, and engineering teams on data and claims.. Assist with billing communications and questions for patients and health plans.. 1-3 years of experience in medical billing, claims submission, or denials management.. Working knowledge of claim lifecycle basics (CMS-1500/837 claims, CPT/ICD-10 coding, EOBs/ERAs, common denial reason codes).. Comfort with Google Suite and Excel, including pivot tables and VLOOKUPs.. Strong written and verbal communication skills.. Experience with EMR or RCM software (e.g., Candid) is a plus.. Experience with Medicaid or Medicare billing is a plus.. Experience with registered dietician, nutrition services, and/or food billing is a plus.. Pay range:. $50K - $65K. Remote-First Company.
