What you will be doing:. ●               Assist in preparing, reviewing, and organizing legal documents, including customer contracts, HR contracts, NDAs, policies, and corporate records; ●               Act as a liaison between internal departments and external regulatory bodies for compliance matters; ●               Support compliance initiatives including tracking regulatory deadlines, audits, and internal policy updates; ●               Provide assistance in data privacy efforts, including processing Data Subject Access Requests (DSARs), vendor due diligence, and documentation under applicable data privacy laws (e.g., GDPR, CCPA, as amended); ●               Maintain corporate governance records including board resolutions, meeting minutes, and corporate filings; ●               Coordinate with vendors for contract management, renewals, and compliance documentation; ●               Assist in managing insurance policies and renewals, certificates of insurance, and claims documentation; ●               Maintain legal files and databases, ensuring all records are updated and accessible; ●               Conduct basic legal research and summarize findings as needed; and ●               Support general administrative duties within the legal department, including calendar management, correspondence, and document filing.. . What we look for:. ●               Bachelor’s degree in Law, Legal Studies, Business, or a related field; ●               3–4 years of relevant experience as a legal assistant, paralegal, or in a compliance- related role; ●               Understanding of legal terminology and procedures, particularly in corporate, contract, and data privacy law; ●               Familiarity with compliance frameworks and corporate governance best practices; ●               Excellent organizational, communication, and time-management skills; ●               High attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information with integrity; ●               Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal or contract management tools (e.g., DocuSign, Asana or CLM platforms)..
