Responsible for surface preparation, abrasive blasting, and application of protective coatings on vessels and shipyard structures.. Responsibilities:. ✓ Prepare steel surfaces using abrasive blasting, power tools, and other approved methods.. ✓ Apply marine coatings and paint systems in accordance with technical specifications and manufacturers' recommendations.. ✓ Inspect prepared surfaces and completed coating work to ensure quality standards are met.. ✓ Maintain blasting and painting equipment and follow all health, safety, and environmental procedures.. Requirements:. ✓ Previous experience in abrasive blasting and industrial or marine painting.. ✓ Knowledge of surface preparation methods, coating systems, and safe handling of painting materials.. ✓ Ability to work safely in confined spaces and industrial environments.. ✓ Shipyard experience is an advantage..
