Retention Manager.  to join our Ecommerce team and take ownership of the customer lifecycle across our brands. This role is key to maximizing . customer retention, brand loyalty, subscription performance, . and . profitability. .. You will be responsible for increasing subscription sign-ups, minimizing churn, improving customer satisfaction and ensuring margin balance through the smart design of offers and pricing.. This role requires a . strong analytical mindset. , the ability to interpret customer behavior, and a deep understanding of e-commerce metrics. You will report to the Head of Ecommerce and lead the execution of retention programs that directly impact business growth and recurring revenue.. The key responsibilities are:. Customer Retention & Subscription Management. Own the strategy to increase s. ubscription acquisition, retention, and lifetime value.. Define, monitor, and optimize key subscription metrics (e.g., conversion to subscription, churn, retention rate, reactivation).. Manage and optimize . Recharge . (or similar) subscription flows.. Identify and address churn risks through proactive campaigns and touchpoints.. Pricing & Margin Optimization. Define and recommend . pricing strategies.  across funnels and customer journeys that ensure a healthy margin/subscription balance.. Analyze funnel performance, CAC, AOV, and LTV to guide decision-making on initial offer pricing vs. subscription pricing.. Collaborate with Finance/Leadership to monitor margins and ensure profitability across retention initiatives.. Email Marketing & Lifecycle Campaigns. Plan and execute . automated email and SMS flows.  (welcome series, renewal reminders, cancellation recovery, etc.) to drive engagement and revenue.. Lead the . newsletter calendar . and ensure campaigns are on-brand and conversion-oriented.. Manage segmentation, A/B testing, and performance reporting using platforms like . Klaviyo. .. Ensure excellent . email deliverability and sender reputation.  across all domains.. Promotions & Customer Engagement. Design and execute . targeted promotions.  to encourage repeat purchases and upsell opportunities.. Coordinate offers and discounts aligned with brand strategy and commercial calendar.. Build loyalty and referral programs that reward high-value customers and encourage word-of-mouth.. Brand Reputation & Feedback. Monitor and act on customer feedback via NPS, surveys, and review platforms.. Use tools such as . Trustpilot . and . BBB . to monitor public feedback, and respond to customer reviews in a professional and brand-aligned tone.. Identify friction points and implement improvements to enhance satisfaction and retention.. Cross-functional Alignment & Reporting. Ensure . alignment with strategic business goals.  and communicate insights regularly to leadership.. Own . reporting . on retention, subscription, and email performance with clear, actionable recommendations.. Stay up to date with best practices, platforms, and trends in ecommerce retention and subscriptions.. Oversee and manage all aspects of the Vital Nutritive Amazon store.. What we’re looking for:. 2+ years of experience in . retention or lifecycle marketing. , ideally in . DTC ecommerce.  or subscription-based businesses.. Previous experience working with . health supplements. .. Proven success in managing . subscription pricing strategies.  with margin impact.. Strong . analytical and data interpretation skills. , with fluency in tools like Excel, Looker, or Google Sheets.. Deep knowledge of . email & SMS marketing. , ideally with Klaviyo and Recharge. Hands-on experience using . Shopify apps.  relevant to retention and subscription management.. Familiarity with . Trustpilot . and . BBB. , and ability to manage public review responses with professionalism.. Analytical . and . performance-oriente. d mindset, able to turn data into actions.. Strong project management skills..
