This position involves working as a Senior Test Engineer for our R&D team in Chennai, India, focusing on Analytics and Data Management software.. Execute test plans and strategies for HBK software, focusing on the development and execution of test scripts for Automated / Interactive testing of product(s). . Contribute with other team members to ensure all software errors are identified and reported. . Assist with resolution and reproduction of user software problems. . Contribute to the development of the software by collaborating with software testers and developers based in Europe. . Qualifications. 5 - 8 years’ experience in similar previous roles. . Bachelor of Engineering or Technology degree in Electrical, Electronics, Communication, Instrumentation, Mechanical, Computer Science or Information Technology. . Knowledge of testing processes, tools and methodologies. . Knowledge / experience of Agile Software Development & Testing. . Programming experience (C#, JavaScript or similar). . Knowledge and hands-on experience on API Testing using REST API. . Knowledge and experience of Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Delivery (CD) using Azure DevOps. . Knowledge on UX testing. . Knowledge and experience working on Jira would be an advantage. . Knowledge on Sound & Vibration Engineering would be an advantage. . Candidates who also hold Agile or ISTQB Software Test certification would be an advantage. . Requirements. Attention to detail, thoroughness and clear communication skills. .
