Are you a skilled content creator who loves to connect the dots, ask sharp questions, and bring clarity through words? We’re looking for a strong writer and organized content producer to help us build engaging, helpful content that cuts through the noise. You’ll help execute blog posts, emails, social media, landing pages, and other content that showcases TaxValet’s unique approach to sales tax (yep, even taxes can feel human).. This is not an entry-level role. You’ll need to hit the ground running with strong writing skills, the ability to manage multiple projects at once, and the curiosity to uncover great stories from within the team. You’ll own and manage the blog and social calendar, repurpose content into bite-sized formats, and work closely with subject-matter experts to translate complexity into clarity. You’ll have the support of a marketing manager and coordinator to guide strategy and execution, and the opportunity to grow into a strategic, lead-generating content expert over time.. . Your Qualifications. This role is best suited to a seasoned content professional—someone who has spent years creating content that not only sounds good, but performs. You’ve worked in content-rich environments where you’ve written for different channels, collaborated with internal teams, and delivered assets that align with broader marketing efforts. You’re not new to this—you know how to ask smart questions, manage content production, and write with clarity, tone, and intent.. Professional. 5+ years in a content marketing role.. Proven experience creating content across formats (email, blog, social, landing pages, guides, etc.).. Strong editing skills, with the ability to refine content and formatting for clarity, tone, readability, grammar, and brand voice.. Able to confidently interview subject-matter experts and translate complexity into helpful, insightful, relatable and easy-to-consume content.. Experience with content strategy, editorial planning, and the customer journey in B2B contexts.. Strong knowledge of SEO, email marketing, and social media tools.. Own the Editorial Calendar (Blog + Social). Plan deadlines, coordinate interviews, and keep content moving. Ensure timely delivery and alignment with broader marketing campaigns. Repurpose and Refresh Existing Content. Turn webinars into blog and social series, repackage content for multiple uses. Collaborate with Internal Experts. Conduct SME interviews to extract unique insights and real-world knowledge. Coordinate with marketing leadership to align messaging. Maintain Our Brand Voice. Learn and use TaxValet’s tone and style across content types. Help build consistency across the buyer journey. Follow Content Systems and Processes. Use project management tools to track progress and ensure deadlines are met. Flag blockers and communicate progress clearly. Understand What’s Working. Learn what types of content perform best.
