In this role you’ll lead a small team of product managers and drive success for our managed services portfolio, including our referral service and our turnkey pharmacy management service. You’ll work closely with infrastructure, data engineering, implementation, marketing, sales, and customer-facing teams, and you’ll be driving our thinking forward about how to bring new ideas and better results to a vitally important customer base who provide safety-net healthcare access in the US.. As a Director, you’ll be accountable for the end to end success of Nuvem solutions in your area of responsibility. You develop specific goals and the strategy to achieve the goals, and organize, lead and coach your team to make them a reality. You define what resources you need to get there, and are able to solve most common problems yourself because you’ve seen them before. . Responsibilities:. Operate as a leader and champion for product management at Nuvem.. Coach product managers to improve their own craft, communications, and sense for balancing speed, quality, and capabilities.. Participate in building a product strategy and conveying that strategy to the organization in a way that delivers results.. Ability to think strategically and translate strategy into product plans and programs.. The ability to provide thoughtful feedback on work, as well as identify overlaps and efficiencies between team members’ projects.. Confidence delivering clear, direct and actionable feedback, and won’t shy away from confronting difficult situations or increasing communication when there’s friction or uncertainty.. Flexibility to partner with and negotiate with colleagues and customers at all levels inside and outside the organization.. Coach and lead other product managers, build effective cross-functional relationships with senior leaders, and influence priorities of others.. Recognize trends in business and identify new opportunities.. Work closely with multiple teams to translate high-level strategies into clear and measurable goals that achieve results.. Develop communications material, value prop and high-level strategic justification to help explain the why of your product both internally and externally.. Develop relationships with customers and prospects, gather and understand customer feedback on existing products and products in development and participate in effective interviews to better understand the context and pressures of your product’s environment.. Define ways to measure and track the success of your, and your team’s, work.. Develop and refine prioritized solutions and features based on specific user needs and business goals.. Work with the product team to prioritize problems to solve, make trade-off decisions, and translate priorities into detailed user stories and acceptance criteria.. Effectively identify and manage cross-team dependencies.. Build effective relationships that matter with engineering, QA, AM, marketing, and other cross-functional stakeholders.. Requirements. 10+ years product management experience within healthcare, some 340B experience within FQHC.. 7+ years of experience managing product people. Understands industry, market, and product trends affecting customers.. Keeps up with business, industry and market information.. Experience working cooperatively with others and influence without authority.. Experience with agile software engineering methodology and the Product Owner role.. Experience with common tools like email, spreadsheets, wikis, team chat, video calls, and ticket tracking tools.. Experience with measuring and tracking the effectiveness of service-oriented and SaaS products.. 20% travel for team meetings, planning, and customer visits..
