You will take a leading role in building and optimizing Android-based in-car experiences, working closely with our Product and Design teams to deliver seamless integrations for OEM (original equipment manufacturer) partners. . Lead and manage a team of Android engineers and QA building applications for Android Automotive OS (AAOS) . Drive technical architecture, system design, and best practices for performance, security, and automotive-grade reliability . Ensure seamless integration with embedded systems, car hardware APIs, and OEM standards . Conduct code reviews, mentor engineers, and foster a culture of clean, testable, and scalable code . Facilitate Scrum ceremonies, sprint planning, and regular status reporting . Qualifications. 5+ years of experience in Android development . 2+ years with Android Automotive OS . Proven experience leading Engineering teams or technical projects . Strong knowledge of Kotlin, Jetpack, and Android app architecture (MVVM, Hilt/Koin) . Experience with voice assistants or audio processing  . Familiarity with AAOS-specific APIs, CarApp library, AudioManager, and in-car UX constraints . Proven experience in aligning stakeholders . Experience working with automotive OEMs or Tier 1 suppliers . Background in real-time audio streaming and WebSocket APIs . Understanding of automotive safety, certification, or regulatory compliance.
