The Global Account Owner is responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive sales plan that includes new and existing sales strategies for key accounts. They play a lead role in driving a cross-regional sales team and internal employees to penetrate key accounts and aggressively expand relationships.. Gathers detailed information about accounts . Identifies decision-makers . Understands strategic business challenges and priorities . Manages team with analyzing information and prioritizing opportunities critical to accounts . Manages professional sales coordination and account planning and resolves possible account ownership issues . Manages proposals, account or market plans, and forecast/report sales activity . Manages sales teams consisting of both direct and indirect reports . Qualifications. A university degree required (i.e. Bachelors degree) or equivalent relevant work experience . Ability to lead, coach, and develop team members . Holds self and others accountable to achieving goals and standards . Ability to work in a fast-paced environment to handle multiple competing tasks and demands . Strong communication skills; oral, written and presentation . Strong organization, planning and time management skills to achieve results . Strong personal and professional ethical values and integrity . Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel) .
