Staff Accountant at FlexTal Staffing LLC. Location Information: Mexico. The Staff Accountant with Property Accounting will play a crucial role in managing and overseeing the financial aspects of property accounting within our organization. This position requires a deep understanding of property management principles and practices, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting and compliance with relevant regulations.. Key Responsibilities:. . Maintain accurate property financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.. . Prepare monthly financial statements and reports for assigned properties, ensuring compliance with property accounting standards.. . Conduct regular reconciliations of bank accounts and other financial records to ensure accuracy.. . Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes for properties under management.. . Coordinate with property managers to gather necessary financial data and information.. . Prepare and analyze variance reports, providing insights to improve financial performance.. . Ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures, as well as federal, state, and local regulations.. . Support the preparation for audits and respond to auditor inquiries as needed.. . Identify areas for process improvements and implement best practices in property accounting.. . Requirements. . Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.. . 3+ years of experience in property accounting, real estate accounting, or a related field.. . Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.. . Proficiency in accounting software; experience with property management software is a plus.. . Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.. . Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.. . Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.. .
