We’re hiring a Product Manager to help define and execute the product roadmap for Pressable. You’ll work closely with engineering, support, sales, marketing, and the broader Automattic ecosystem to deliver a best-in-class experience for WordPress developers and agencies. From idea to launch (and beyond), you’ll own product discovery, prioritize impactful work, and help us tell the story of what makes Pressable different.. Key Responsibilities. Product Strategy & Roadmap. : Define and evolve the product roadmap based on customer needs, internal feedback, competitive landscape, and business priorities.. Customer Discovery. : Talk to customers regularly to identify pain points and opportunities, especially among agencies, developers, and mid-market merchants.. Community Engagement. : Actively engage with the WordPress and agency communities through direct customer conversations, industry events, podcasts, webinars, and networking groups.. Collaboration & Execution. : Work closely with engineering to define requirements, clarify priorities, and ship high-quality features that deliver value.. Communication & Enablement. : Partner with support, sales, and marketing to ensure new features are clearly communicated, well-documented, and positioned for success.. Measurement & Optimization. : Use analytics, surveys, and feedback loops to validate impact, improve adoption, and guide future product decisions.. Content & Community Support. : Write blog posts, record short videos, and contribute to public-facing feature explainers and competitive differentiators.. You Might Be a Fit If You. Have 4–6+ years of product management experience in SaaS or hosting.. Are customer-obsessed, especially when it comes to understanding developer and agency needs.. Are comfortable working across multiple teams and communicating both asynchronously and in real-time.. Are hands-on, action-oriented, and comfortable with both strategic planning and execution.. Understand hosting, WordPress, and the needs of high-traffic or technically complex sites.. Enjoy turning customer pain points into elegant, scalable product solutions.. Thrive in both internal collaboration and external-facing conversations and events.. Bonus Points. Experience working in the WordPress ecosystem or in open-source software.. Familiarity with developer tooling, APIs, or infrastructure/hosting platforms.. Product marketing or technical writing experience.. Public speaking experience, or a desire to represent the brand in podcasts, conferences, or community discussions.. What You’ll Work On Initially. Collaborate with engineering on the 2025 roadmap and refine prioritization practices.. Improve how we communicate new features across blog posts, videos, and support documentation..
