What weβre looking for. The Growth Team Lead at Massive Rocket is an operational leadership role that combines sales management, client experience oversight, and sales operations excellence. Reporting to the Director of Growth, you'll lead a team of Account Managers to drive revenue growth through both new client acquisition and existing client expansion. This role requires a unique blend of coaching expertise, operational rigor, and cross-functional collaboration to optimise our land-and-expand model while maintaining the highest standards of client experience.. You'll be responsible for developing your team's capabilities across the full client lifecycle, from initial prospecting through long-term account growth. Working closely with operations and delivery teams, you'll implement systems and processes that accelerate pipeline velocity while ensuring sustainable, profitable growth. This is a hands-on leadership position where you'll balance strategic oversight with tactical execution, serving as both a mentor to your team and an escalation point for our most critical client relationships. . Responsibilities. Team Coaching & Development . β’ . Lead weekly sales pipeline reviews, ensuring accuracy, rigor, and actionable insights across all accounts. . β’ . Design and implement career progression frameworks that motivate and retain top talent while building internal capability. . β’ . Conduct regular one-on-ones, performance reviews, and skills assessments to identify development opportunities and provide targeted support. . β’ . Foster a collaborative team environment that balances individual achievement with collective success. . Revenue Operations & Pipeline Management . β’ Initial Client Relationships: build a strong foundation with clients, establishing Massive Rocket as a trusted partner from the outset. . β’ . Implement and continuously refine sales processes, methodologies, and systems to improve conversion rates and cycle times. . β’ . Analyze pipeline data to identify bottlenecks, trends, and opportunities for acceleration. . β’ . Collaborate with the Director of Growth to improve and optimise territory management and resource allocation. . Client Escalation & Risk Management . β’ . Serve as primary escalation point for the team and the Director of Growth for at-risk renewals, developing retention strategies and leading critical client conversations. . β’ . Partner with delivery teams to address critical service issues that could impact client satisfaction and renewal probability. . β’ . Implement early warning systems to proactively identify and address potential churn risks. . Account Growth Strategy . β’ Guide team in identifying and executing expansion opportunities within existing accounts within the context of our land-and-expand model and a rapidly growing selection of services . β’ Develop and coach account planning frameworks that help Account Managers map client organisations and identify growth vectors, aligned with their internal stakeholders.. β’ Support strategic roadmap development for key accounts, ensuring alignment between client objectives and Massive Rocket capabilities . Sales Enablement & Knowledge Management. β’ Create comprehensive sales playbooks, competitive battlecards, and objection-handling guides.. β’ Develop high-quality training materials including written guides, recorded demos, and interactive workshops.. β’ Maintain up-to-date competitive intelligence and market positioning materials.. β’ Partner with marketing to ensure sales collateral aligns with current messaging and positioning. . Cross-Functional Collaboration . β’ Work with delivery leadership to improve hand-off processes, project scoping accuracy, and client satisfaction metrics.. β’ Collaborate with operations teams to enhance data quality, reporting capabilities, and process efficiency. β’ Partner with leadership on pricing strategies, commission structures, and revenue forecasting. β’ Coordinate with marketing on lead quality, nurture campaigns, and account-based marketing initiatives . Experience. β’ 8+ years in sales leadership or sales operations roles, with at least 3 years managing sales teams. β’ Proven track record in B2B sales, preferably in consulting, or agency environments. β’ Experience with land-and-expand sales models and client success methodologies. β’ Background in sales operations, including CRM management, pipeline analysis, and sales process optimization.. β’ Demonstrated success in coaching and developing sales professionals to exceed targets .
