Defining and executing the global privacy strategy in alignment with company objectives and regulatory frameworks.. Serving as the company's senior-most expert on global data protection and privacy laws.. Building robust privacy-by-design capabilities and embedding privacy procedures across the entire organization.. Overseeing critical processes for handling data subject rights, data retention, cross-border data transfers, and breach responses.. Leading and coaching a globally-distributed, high-performing privacy team.. To ensure you succeed in this global leadership role, you’re going to need:. 10+ years of experience in privacy, data protection, or legal/compliance roles, including 3+ years in a leadership position.. Proven ability to lead global privacy programs in scaling technology companies (SaaS or platform preferred).. Deep, practical knowledge of global privacy frameworks and the ability to operationalize them into pragmatic advice.. Eligibility and willingness to serve as a Data Protection Officer if requested, under GDPR (or similar), where applicable.
