We’re now hiring a Risk Analyst to help our Trust and Safety function make Chuffed the most trusted crowdfunding platform globally.. 🔥 About the Role. Your primary function is to ensure the integrity of campaigns on Chuffed. This involves three functions: detecting campaigns that present risk signals, investigating campaigns to ensure compliance with our requirements and systematizing learnings into new detection and investigation protocols.. Here’s what you’ll do:. Detect campaign risks:. . Conduct reviews of new fundraising campaigns to identify potential upcoming risks . . Monitor existing fundraising campaigns for risk signals. . Monitor donation pattern models to flag potential emergent risks. . Investigate flagged campaigns:. . Review and analyze community complaints regarding potential fraudulent activity. . Providing empathetic email and occasional phone support to customers and other stakeholders to ensure fundraiser authenticity. . Systematize learnings. . Continuously improve the automated detection systems and processes. . Provide feedback and improvements for our campaign investigation process. . Provide input and feedback into product improvements to manage risk on the platform. . 💡 What We’re Looking For. We care more about your mindset than your resume. You have experience or familiarity with customer due diligence, AML/CTF/ KYC regulations.. . You have strong analytical or pattern-detection skills with a process-oriented, curious mindset.. .
