We are currently looking for a Cloud Computing Specialist (CCS) - Subject Matter Expert (SME) in the United States.. In this role, you will serve as a cloud computing expert with deep knowledge in security, architecture, and compliance standards. You will provide guidance on cloud deployment, migration, and security best practices across multiple platforms, including AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure. This position involves working closely with technical teams to design secure, scalable, and efficient cloud environments, ensuring alignment with DoD and industry standards. You will apply your expertise to evaluate risks, implement advanced cloud security controls, and develop detailed documentation for cloud operations. The role emphasizes proactive problem-solving, technical leadership, and collaboration within complex, mission-critical environments.. . Accountabilities:. Analyze, design, and implement cloud hosting solutions across multiple platforms, including AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, and OCI.. Provide subject matter expertise in cloud security, Secure Cloud Computing Architecture (SCCA), and compliance with DoD/DISA policies.. Apply Cloud Security Requirements Guide and Zero Trust principles to ensure secure cloud deployments, including tenant isolation, encryption, key management, and application firewalls.. Collaborate with technical teams and vendors to troubleshoot cloud deployment issues and recommend innovative hosting solutions.. Develop deployment specifications, test plans, configuration guides, and supporting documentation for cloud operations.. Support continuous improvement of cloud architecture, infrastructure, and security posture.. Perform additional duties as assigned in alignment with organizational objectives.. Active Secret clearance.. 5+ years of relevant Certification & Accreditation (C&A) experience, including Risk Management Framework (RMF), NIST SP 800-37, and 800-53 standards.. Experience assessing cybersecurity controls and conducting C&A reviews for complex information systems.. Expertise in cloud computing with 5+ years designing and managing large-scale cloud environments, including workload deployment and migration.. Knowledge of hybrid computing, edge computing, cloud-native microservices, and IoT networking protocols.. Familiarity with FedRAMP assessment methodology across architectural, platform, application, data, operations, and legal/compliance domains.. Strong technical writing and business communication skills.. Certifications required: Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP), and DoD 8570 Baseline Certification (IAT Level II or equivalent).. Preferred cloud certifications: AWS Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Oracle Cloud Architect, Oracle Cloud Security Professional, Google Cloud Platform Cloud Architect.. .
