We are seeking an experienced Associate (In-House Corporate) to join our legal team on a fixed-term basis with the potential to moving to a permanent role. This role will have primary responsibility for advising on a wide range of corporate and commercial matters, with particular focus on funding agreements, investment transactions, and strategic partnerships. The successful candidate will support in the provision of pragmatic, business-focused legal support to senior management and business units, ensuring effective risk management while enabling commercial growth. This role is flexible and can be remote or a hybrid arrangement.. . Main Duties and Responsibilities. Including, but not limited to:. . Advise on, draft and negotiate a variety of corporate and commercial agreements, including funding and financing agreements, joint ventures, shareholder agreements, supply and service contracts, and partnership arrangements.. . Support fundraising, investment and M&A activity, including due diligence, transaction documentation, and post-closing integration.. . Provide legal input on corporate governance, board matters, company secretarial issues and compliance with UK company law.. . Act as a key point of contact for internal stakeholders, providing clear and practical advice on legal and regulatory risks.. . Manage external counsel relationships effectively and cost-efficiently.. . Contribute to the development of internal policies and templates to improve efficiency and consistency.. . Assist the team with strategic projects and broader legal and compliance matters as required.. . . UK-qualified solicitor with a minimum of 5 years’ post-qualification experience, ideally trained at a leading law firm and/or within a fast-paced in-house environment.. .
