We are seeking a visionary engineering leader to drive the strategy, development, and evolution of a large-scale, real-time data platform that serves millions of users. In this role, you will lead a multidisciplinary team, build scalable data pipelines and analytics infrastructure, and enable game teams to ship features faster with minimal backend friction. You will translate business priorities into technical solutions, define platform vision, and establish best-in-class developer experiences. The position requires strong leadership, expertise in distributed systems, and a focus on reliability, cost efficiency, and compliance. Lead and grow the Platform Engineering team, fostering technical excellence, ownership, and player-focused solutions.. . Define and execute the long-term platform vision and short-term delivery plan, aligned with company priorities.. . Partner with Product, Game Development, and Analytics teams to ensure the platform meets evolving needs.. . Drive architectural decisions for large-scale, real-time data processing and storage systems, leveraging tools such as Redpanda, Flink, ClickHouse, and Iceberg.. . Establish and track key platform metrics including uptime, ingestion latency, developer onboarding time, and operational costs.. . Automate workflows and remove operational bottlenecks to maximize engineering productivity.. . Ensure platform reliability, scalability, developer experience, and compliance with data privacy regulations.. . . Proven leadership managing multi-disciplinary engineering teams responsible for large-scale, real-time platforms.. .
