We move quickly, work efficiently, and enjoy an environment defined by competence.. We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Logistics Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will oversee and manage the movement of goods, ensuring efficient, cost-effective, and timely delivery across our supply chain. You will collaborate with internal teams, vendors, and carriers to maintain smooth operations, resolve logistics challenges, and support the company’s growth objectives.. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys problem-solving, and has a strong understanding of supply chain processes.. Position Responsibilities:. Shipment Coordination & Execution. Plan, schedule, and monitor inbound and outbound shipments across multiple channels (e.g., 3PL, e-commerce, marketplace (ie: Amazon), international, B2B).. Coordinate with carriers, warehouses, manufacturing partners and suppliers to ensure timely pickup, transit, and delivery of goods.. Prepare and process shipping documentation (e.g., bills of lading, customs declarations, certificates of origin, warehouse receiving orders).. Track shipments and proactively communicate delays or issues to stakeholders.. Inventory & Warehouse Support. Maintain accurate inventory levels by coordinating with warehouse teams to track stock movements and reconcile discrepancies.. Support inventory replenishment and allocation decisions to minimize stockouts and overstock situations.. Monitor storage costs and optimize warehouse utilization.. Vendor & Carrier Management. Build and maintain strong relationships with logistics providers, freight forwarders, and couriers.. Negotiate rates and contracts with carriers to optimize cost and service levels.. Monitor carrier performance and resolve service issues, escalating as necessary.. Compliance & Risk Management. Ensure compliance with all shipping regulations, including customs, import/export, and hazardous material handling.. Address and resolve any shipping-related claims, such as damaged or lost goods.. Monitor and mitigate risks associated with transportation and supply chain disruptions.. Reporting & Process Improvement. Maintain detailed records of logistics activities, costs, and KPIs (e.g., on-time delivery rate, transit time, freight costs).. Analyze data to identify inefficiencies and recommend process improvements.. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., Operations, Customer Service, and Finance) to align logistics strategies with business goals.. Communicate shipment status to the broader organization.. Route Planning. Participate in route planning and shipment consolidation efforts to optimize delivery schedules and minimize costs. Budgeting & Cost Analysis. Assist with logistics budget preparation, monitor actual vs. forecasted spending, and drive initiatives for cost containment across domestic and international freight and warehousing.​. Basic Qualifications:. Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Logistics, or a related field (preferred).. 3+ years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or transportation coordination.. Understanding of logistics processes, including shipping, warehousing, and inventory management.. Preferred Skills:. Proficiency in logistics or ERP software (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, Pipe17, ShipBob, or similar).. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with internal teams and external partners.. Attention to detail and ability to analyze data for actionable insights.. Knowledge of customs regulations, import/export documentation, and international shipping (preferred).. Project Management: experience managing cross-functional logistics projects, onboarding new suppliers, or launching new fulfillment channels.. Technical Skills:. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, etc.).. Familiarity with logistics tracking tools and platforms.. Company Location: United States.
