The Amazon Specialist – Marketing & Merchandising will play a key role in driving Packt’s paid performance and merchandising impact on Amazon. Working under the direction of the Amazon Marketing Lead, the role will focus on planning and executing monthly Amazon paid campaigns, briefing and coordinating creative assets, and delivering actionable insights through campaign performance analysis. . Alongside paid marketing, the role will own key merchandising activities such as maintaining and optimising Packt’s Amazon Storefront, refreshing content, and monitoring conversion and traffic data to support decision-making across publishing Verticals. This role will also act as a key contact for liaising with Amazon to identify and resolve issues affecting promotions, product pages, and campaign delivery. .  . What You Will Do . Manage the setup, optimisation, and monitoring of Amazon Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, and Sponsored Display campaigns. . Adjust bids, budgets, and targeting to improve performance, reporting regularly on key metrics such as CTR, CVR, ACoS, and TACoS. . Brief and coordinate creatives (ad visuals, copy, A+ content, Store assets) to support paid advertising campaigns. . Support test-and-learn initiatives across paid ads, including keyword optimisation, targeting strategies, and creative variation. . Plan and set up Packt’s participation in Amazon discount campaigns (e.g., Black Friday, Prime Day, Summer Sale, and themed monthly promotions). . Coordinate nomination sheets, unit limits, and discount tiers with publishing Verticals, ensuring timely and accurate submissions. . Monitor promotion approvals in Vendor Central and liaise with Amazon to resolve issues affecting campaign or discount visibility. . Refresh and optimise Packt’s Amazon Storefront, measuring the impact of updates on traffic and conversion. . Pull and analyse campaign, traffic, and conversion reports to provide actionable insights for publishing Verticals. . Share learnings and recommendations from both paid advertising and discount campaigns to inform wider Amazon marketing strategy. .  . Who You Are . We are looking for a detail-oriented and data-driven marketer with experience managing Amazon campaigns across both paid advertising (PPC) and price discount promotions. You’re comfortable working with performance data, spotting trends, and turning insights into actionable recommendations. You can balance multiple priorities, from monitoring always-on ads to coordinating time-sensitive discount campaigns, while keeping Packt’s Amazon presence fresh and engaging. Collaborative, organised, and proactive, you can work across teams and with Amazon contacts to deliver results in a fast-paced environment. . Must-Have Skills: . Hands-on experience managing Amazon PPC campaigns (Sponsored Products, Brands, Display). . Ability to plan, launch, and monitor advertising campaigns with performance optimisation. . Experience coordinating Amazon discount promotions (Lightning Deals, Best Deals, themed campaigns). . Knowledge of Amazon Storefront updates and merchandising improvements. . Strong analytical skills to interpret campaign and conversion data. . Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data reporting. . Excellent communication and collaboration skills. .  . Good-to-Have Skills: . Familiarity with Amazon Marketing Cloud or other advanced analytics tools. . Experience in running A/B tests (ads, storefronts, or promotions). . Knowledge of publishing, eCommerce, or digital learning industries. . Ability to work autonomously while following strategic direction. .
