Key Responsibilities:. . Provider Scheduling:. . Maintain and manage provider calendars, ensuring schedule optimization and daily capacity. Utilize waitlists and follow-up systems to backfill cancellations efficiently.. . Chart Preparation & Auditing:. . Ensure all required documentation and test results are attached and ready before appointments. Audit charts post-visit to confirm provider orders have been processed, patients have been contacted, and follow-ups are tracked and completed.. . Medication Prior Authorizations:. . Submit, track, and follow up on medication prior authorization requests. Communicate with providers and patients regarding statuses and next steps.. . Customer Service & Patient Interaction:. . Handle inbound and outbound calls with professionalism and empathy. Capable of communicating with a diverse patient base and de-escalating concerns when necessary.. . EHR Management:. . Work efficiently within . Athena EHR. and other platforms like . Luma. to maintain up-to-date and accurate patient records, appointments, and communications.. . Administrative Coordination:. .
