This role is designed for a highly skilled biostatistician who will lead and deliver statistical analyses for clinical research projects while mentoring junior team members. You will manage project timelines, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and ensure the quality and integrity of statistical outputs. You will contribute to statistical planning, data analysis, reporting, and documentation, while fostering adherence to best practices and regulatory standards.. . Accountabilities. Lead statistical activities for assigned clinical research projects, ensuring compliance with departmental SOPs and quality standards.. Provide mentorship to junior statisticians and foster teamwork across multi-disciplinary teams.. Develop statistical analysis plans, including database and table/listing specifications, and oversee their implementation.. Conduct sample size calculations, randomization schemes, and protocol reviews to ensure clinical and statistical rigor.. Coordinate with data management and programming teams to maintain and validate databases and statistical outputs.. Review statistical reports, manuscripts, and other deliverables for completeness, consistency, and accuracy.. Manage project resources, timelines, and budgets, communicating proactively about potential scope changes.. Master’s degree in Statistics, Biostatistics, Mathematics, or a related field; relevant experience may substitute for education requirements.. Solid proficiency in SAS programming (BASE, STAT, MACRO, GRAPH) and understanding of database structures.. Strong statistical knowledge with the ability to apply principles to clinical research.. Demonstrated project management skills, capable of handling multiple projects and priorities effectively.. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.. Ability to mentor team members and promote a collaborative work environment.. Detail-oriented, adaptable, and capable of working under pressure to meet deadlines..
