Assistant Project Manager (APM). who’s ready to step up, take ownership, and grow into a future Project Manager role. . The Assistant Project Manager (APM) supports the Senior Project Manager in overseeing commercial construction projects from start to closeout. Positioned above a Project Engineer, the APM handles advanced project controls, subcontract execution, shop drawing and submittal review, and critical project communication. . You will ensure project goals around budget, schedule, quality, and safety are achieved while developing the autonomy and leadership skills needed to eventually take on full Project Manager responsibilities. In this role, you will:. 🌟Support project managers with project execution—tracking budgets, managing schedules, and  coordinating resources.. 📑Draft and issue subcontracts, purchase orders, and vendor agreements with accuracy and clarity.. 📦 Review shop drawings, submittals, and product data to ensure compliance and keep projects moving.. 📅 Maintain job cost logs, procurement trackers, and cost-to-complete reports. 📞 Serve as a key point of contact for subcontractors, vendors, and field teams—keeping everyone aligned.. 📋 Attend site meetings, document progress, and help keep everything on track. 📂 Assist with project closeout, including warranties, compliance docs, and final billing wrap-up.. 💻Communicate with clients, architects, and the internal team with professionalism and confidence..
