AutoCAD Specialist at VirtueStaff. VirtueStaff is seeking an experienced and highly skilled AutoCAD Specialist to support our client in creating precise and detailed technical drawings and plans. In this role, you will be responsible for drafting and modifying documents using AutoCAD software, specifically focusing on importing and manipulating point cloud (RCP) files to aid in project development. This position requires a keen eye for detail, a strong background in technical drawing, and the ability to ensure accuracy and compliance with project standards.. Responsibilities. . Review scans of projects and convert them into RCP (ReCap Point Cloud) files. . Import RCP files into AutoCAD, ensuring accurate and efficient data transfer. . Create and modify detailed drawings and plans using AutoCAD software. . Collaborate with project managers and engineers to understand design requirements and specifications. . Review and analyze design drawings for accuracy and compliance with project standards. . Ensure all drawings are up-to-date and reflect the latest revisions and specifications. . Prepare and present drawings for client review and approval. . Maintain organized documentation and handle file management efficiently. . Assist with project coordination and communicate effectively with team members. . Ability to perform the initial scan of the project. . Must have a version of AutoCAD capable of importing point clouds. . . Proven experience as an AutoCAD Specialist or in a similar role. . Strong proficiency in AutoCAD software (2022 or newer) and related design tools. . Full understanding of AutoCAD workflow, including elements, constructs, views, and sheets. . Experienced architectural drafting background with a strong understanding of engineering and architectural principles for drafting. . Familiarity with architectural terms and standards. . Attention to detail and high degree of accuracy in work. . Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. . Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines. . Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate within a team. . Experience with 3D modeling software is a plus. . Relevant certification or degree in Engineering, Architecture, or a related field is preferred. . Required Software & Tools:. . Matterport Experience: Familiarity with Matterport for point cloud conversion to AutoCAD, specifically handling RCP files. . Excel: Proficiency in Excel (specifically handling RCP files). . KCL & ToolPac Proficiency: Familiarity with KCL and ToolPac is a bonus. . . Note:. If ToolPac or a similar necessary app is not available in your country, we would provide the app if needed, or explore a suitable alternative. Experience with 3rd party apps for Excel-to-CAD imports is a plus. . Company Location: Philippines.
