This role is focused on providing expert technical support for advanced medical imaging systems in high-intensity radiology environments. The Technical Support Engineer will work closely with hospitals, imaging centers, and clinical teams to troubleshoot, maintain, and optimize Radiology Information Systems (RIS) and Picture Archiving & Communication Systems (PACS). The ideal candidate combines strong technical expertise with excellent communication skills, the ability to solve complex problems, and a proactive approach to customer success. This role also involves mentoring junior engineers, contributing to system improvements, and supporting clinical teams in delivering high-quality patient care. Provide remote and on-site support for RIS and PACS systems, troubleshooting complex technical issues.. . Maintain positive customer relationships through proactive communication and high-quality service.. . Participate in system administration, updates, and optimization projects to reduce system downtime.. . Educate customers on best practices and advanced product features.. . Collaborate with internal teams—including sales, service, engineering, and development—to resolve issues and implement solutions.. . Manage and mentor a team of junior engineers, fostering technical expertise and professional growth.. . Support new business opportunities by identifying potential product enhancements during customer interactions.. . . BA/BS degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field.. . Strong technical knowledge of RIS/PACS systems, networking, and computer hardware/software.. . Experience troubleshooting complex applications and system administration, including Linux and Windows Server platforms.. . Familiarity with archival/storage media and radiology workflow preferred.. . Excellent analytical, diagnostic, and problem-solving skills.. . Strong verbal and written communication skills, capable of working with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.. . Certifications such as CompTIA Linux, RHCA/RHCT, CCNA/CCNP are highly desirable.. . Ability to work flexible hours and in a remote environment.. . Company Location: United States.
