As a Software Engineer in Test, you will play a vital role in ensuring the quality, scalability, and performance of a modern SaaS platform. You’ll be responsible for building automated testing frameworks, defining testing strategies, and embedding automation across CI/CD pipelines. Working closely with Software Engineers, DevOps, and Product teams, you’ll design and execute comprehensive tests for web applications, APIs, and microservices. This is a hands-on, technical position where you’ll continuously evolve the organization’s testing practices, mentor peers, and help drive automation excellence in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.. . Accountabilities:. Design, build, and maintain automated test frameworks using Playwright and TypeScript.. Develop and execute tests for web apps, APIs, and microservices, ensuring reliability, scalability, and performance.. Integrate automation into GitHub Actions CI/CD pipelines to improve testing efficiency.. Manage and maintain test environments leveraging cloud technologies such as GCP, AWS, Terraform, and Pulumi.. Plan, design, and perform manual and automated tests to guarantee software quality.. Lead and mentor engineers in automation frameworks, testing strategies, and best practices.. Define and refine test strategies for SaaS platforms, including data observability, ETL processes, and FinOps systems.. Document defects, collaborate with developers to optimize testing tools and processes, and enhance overall test coverage.. . 5+ years of experience in QA or SDET roles, leading automation-first testing initiatives.. 3+ years of hands-on programming experience in TypeScript, Python, or another OOP language..
