This role is designed for a technically skilled professional who excels at designing, implementing, and supporting advanced healthcare IT solutions. The RIS Engineer will focus on optimizing imaging and radiology systems while ensuring seamless integration with cloud environments and enterprise applications. This position involves direct collaboration with cross-functional teams and clients, providing technical expertise, troubleshooting complex issues, and delivering exceptional support. The role also includes documenting solutions, performing pre-sales evaluations, and fostering continuous improvement within the team. Candidates will have the opportunity to directly impact the efficiency and reliability of healthcare IT services, enhancing the overall client experience.. Accountabilities. ·         Design, implement, document, and support radiology and imaging solutions to meet customer needs.. ·         Integrate and maintain solutions within public cloud environments and healthcare IT platforms.. ·         Provide customer support through escalations and direct interactions as required.. ·         Conduct product training for administrators and service-level users to ensure effective system use.. ·         Perform pre-sales evaluations, including Level of Effort assessments, and coordinate with project managers.. ·         Promote a culture of root cause analysis and continuous improvement within the RIS team.. ·         Extract, document, and manage product information to facilitate ongoing support.. ·         3+ years of experience in a similar role, preferably within Radiology or Healthcare IT.. ·         Strong knowledge of Windows OS desktop and server environments, networking concepts, and troubleshooting.. ·         Experience with hypervisors, containerization technologies, MSSQL, and database management.. ·         Familiarity with scripting, data serialization, relational database languages, and report-writing software (e.g., SSRS).. ·         Understanding of healthcare interface standards such as HL7 and DICOM.. ·         Strong troubleshooting, critical thinking, and professional communication skills.. ·         Experience working in public cloud environments and supporting enterprise-level solutions..
