
Project Manager: Community and Organizational Support (Fully Remote) at International Mountain Bicycling Association. IMBA is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Project Manager to lead the tracking, management, and strategic improvement of our work with communities and organizations across North America. This role will be pivotal in ensuring seamless communication, effective resource allocation, and measurable progress in our mission to create, enhance, and protect great places to ride mountain bikes. The Project Manager will oversee the internal work of the community progress shop along with the associated tools, reporting systems, and engagement strategies that align with IMBA's strategic goals.. . Key Responsibilities:. . Community Engagement & Support:. ● Manage, track and coordinate engagement with communities and trail organizations to assess needs, track progress, and share IMBA resources.. ● Develop and maintain community assessment tools to evaluate organizational health, project progress, and capacity-building opportunities.. ● Serve as a point of contact for community partners, ensuring consistent communication and support.. ● Collaborate on developing community workshops, webinars, and training sessions to elevate local advocacy and stewardship efforts.. . Project Management & Tracking:. ● Oversee the lifecycle of community projects from planning to completion, ensuring deadlines are met and outcomes are documented.. ● Implement and utilize project tracking tools to monitor engagement metrics, project milestones, and resource utilization.. ● Maintain real-time updates of community progress in the CRM and project management software (currently Monday.com). ● Facilitate regular check-ins with community leaders to track impact and identify areas for support or improvement.. . Data Analysis & Reporting:. ● Analyze data from community assessments and project tracking to identify trends, successes, and areas for growth.. ● Generate reports for internal leadership and external partners showcasing community impact and project outcomes.. ● Contribute to IMBA's strategic planning by identifying key opportunities for community-driven trail development, stewardship and advocacy.. ● Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Environmental Studies, Public Administration, Nonprofit Management, or a related field.. ● 5-8 years of experience in project management, nonprofit operations, or community engagement—outdoor recreation experience is a plus.. ● Proficiency with CRM systems, project management software and Google Workspace. ● Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.. ● Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience in stakeholder engagement.. ● Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote setting.. ● Passion for mountain biking, outdoor recreation, and community building..
