Experienced Execution Trader at Deeter Analytics. Experienced Execution Trader – Hedge Fund (Short & Medium-Term Trading). Reports To: Founding Principal and PM. Key Responsibilities. Trade Execution & Portfolio Support:. - Assist with execution and day-to-day management of trades across equities, options, futures, and FX.. - Monitor real-time P&L, exposures, and position performance throughout the trading day.. - Maintain organized and up-to-date records of each position’s rationale, time horizon, and risk profile.. Principal Interaction & Strategic Alignment:. - Work closely with the Principal to understand and track his evolving market views and tactical priorities.. - Ensure portfolio positioning reflects the strategic direction of the investment team.. -Market Monitoring & News Flow:. - Stay current on earnings, macroeconomic events, and geopolitical developments that may impact positions.. - Flag changes in market conditions, volatility, or liquidity that may require portfolio adjustment.. -Risk Management & Compliance:. - Monitor leverage, exposure, and concentration risk across positions and strategies.. - Ensure internal and regulatory compliance, working with operations to confirm trade accuracy and reporting integrity.. Reporting & Operational Coordination:. - Maintain rigorous documentation of trade decisions, execution notes, and risk summaries.. Qualifications. - 2–6 years of experience at a hedge fund, proprietary trading desk, or institutional investment firm.. - Deep understanding of short- and medium-term trading strategies, market structure, and portfolio risk.. - Strong proficiency with Excel and Bloomberg; familiarity with trading and order management systems.. - Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment..
