
Inside Sales Engineer - Malaysia or Taiwan at Continental Disc Corporation. The Inside Sales Engineer performs a variety of duties to support the Director of Sales, Asia Pacific in a designated region and helps meet and exceed overall company sales goals. This position is responsible for reviewing and analyzing customer RFQ (request for quote), preparing quotations within standard lead time, coordinating both with customers, reps and sales to provide effective and timely solutions. . Act as a resource for customers and manufacturer’s reps in a designated territory, providing essential customer service, product selection and technical support in an effective, timely, and pleasant manner.. . Receive customer inquiries and review and interpret specifications and requirements to prepare quotations.. . Prepare commercial proposal and product sizing in line with customer technical requirements, commercial conditions of sales and delivery times.. . Address customer’s technical/commercial queries and issues in a timely manner.. . Provide contract review, including knowledge of terms and conditions, technical review, discounts, commissions, etc.. . Collect project details against RFQs and upload them to Salesforce (CRM).. . Order processing.. . Manage returned material authorization (RMA), if required.. . Work with Regional Sales Manager for designated region to maintain up-to-date information regarding status of customer activities to effectively serve customers when RSM is not availablePerform other duties as assigned, based on workload and business need.. . Minimum 5 years of experience in quote process in mechanical applications with an engineering company or industry.. . B.E. – Mechanical / Instrumentation Engineering.. . Good knowledge of commercials terms.. . Experience with knowledge of safety systems, e.g., pressure relief products, rupture discs, flame arrestors, mechanical maintenance or services is preferred.. . TECHNICAL / FUNCTION SPECIFIC:. . Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience of working on ERP, e.g., Salesforce.. . Highly motivated and innovative’. . Ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage time effectively.. . Intermediate math skills.. . Knowledge of units of measure. . Problem solving skills.. . Intermediate reading skills.. . Excellent written and verbal communication skills in .
