The successful candidate will have hands-on experience with gaseous fire suppression systems, including . FM-200, Novec, and/or Inert gas systems. . This role involves the installation, servicing, maintenance, and commissioning of fixed suppression systems across a variety of sites and environments, ensuring compliance with industry standards and client requirements.. Your Role as Gas Suppression Engineer. . . Install, service, commission, and maintain gaseous fire suppression systems, specifically FM-200, Novec 1230, and Inert gas systems (e.g., IG-55, IG-541). . . Conduct system testing, inspections, and leak detection in accordance with BS EN and ISO standards. . . Work from technical drawings and design schematics to ensure precise installation and system functionality. . . Provide timely and effective fault diagnosis and repairs. . . Ensure all works are completed to the highest standards of safety and quality. . . Maintain accurate documentation, including service reports, risk assessments, and commissioning records. . . Liaise professionally with clients on-site and provide technical advice as required. . . Stay up to date with current regulations, products, and industry developments. . . Participate in on-call rota or emergency response duties if required.. . For this opportunity, we are specifically looking for candidates who offer:. . Valid . F-Gas certification. Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. . . Experience with integrated fire detection and control systems. . . ECS/CSCS card or other site safety certifications.. .
