This Cloud Engineer role offers the opportunity to design, implement, and maintain advanced cloud infrastructure for high-profile clients, including hedge funds and investment firms. You will work with both Azure and AWS environments, building scalable solutions that optimize performance, cost, and security. The role combines hands-on technical work with strategic input, allowing you to influence architecture, onboarding, and operational processes. You will collaborate closely with professional services teams and client stakeholders, serving as a technical expert and escalation point. Design, build, deploy, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure across Azure and AWS.. . Troubleshoot, resolve, and optimize complex cloud-related issues, ensuring high availability and performance.. . Support onboarding of large and complex clients by implementing tailored cloud solutions aligned with business needs.. . Act as a technical escalation point for service-related issues requiring advanced cloud expertise.. . Collaborate with sales and professional services teams during pre-sales and client engagement activities.. . Contribute to architecture, design, and productization of cloud solutions to expand service offerings.. . Conduct research, implement best practices, and maintain thorough documentation of cloud environments and processes.. . Maintain and strengthen relationships with technology partners, including Microsoft, Amazon, and other vendors.. . . Bachelor’s degree with 4 years of IT experience, including relevant cloud technologies, or 8 years of IT experience with 2–4 years in cloud-focused roles.. . Proficiency with Azure, AWS, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and hybrid cloud environments.. . Strong understanding of network and connectivity solutions, including VPNs and hybrid network configurations.. . Experience designing, scoping, and executing cloud solutions tailored to client requirements.. . Excellent written and verbal communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.. . Self-motivated, proactive, and accountable for individual and team outcomes.. . Active certifications in Azure, AWS, or Microsoft 365 are highly desirable.. . Preferred: advanced knowledge of infrastructure design, experience with finance or alternative investment industries, proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) and CI/CD pipelines, experience with Managed Services Providers, and ability to create detailed technical documentation.. .
