Senior Accountant (WFH) at Staff4Me. The . Senior Accountan. t role will offer a great mix of hands-on accounting work and financial analysis. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, has a strong technical accounting background, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. . Candidates must have QuickBooks Online experience and advanced Excel experience. Key Responsibilities: . Accounting routine: o Process Accounts Payable (AP) transactions, ensuring timely payments o Customer Invoicing and AR management . o Daily bank reconciliation and cash reporting . o Bi-monthly Payroll processing (ADP) o Excel reporting . . General Ledger: Maintain the general ledger, ensuring all accounts are reconciled and accurately reported. Ensure accurate and timely preparation of journal entries, reconciliations, and supporting schedules . . Month-End Close: Prepare the month-end close process, ensuring timely and accurate reporting of financial data . . Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. . . Compliance & Audit Support: Ensure compliance with internal and external financial regulations and support audit preparations . . Tax Preparation & Reporting: Support the preparation of tax returns and filings for corporate taxes, sales taxes, and other relevant taxes . . Financial Analysis: Provide insights into financial performance through detailed analysis of variances, trends, and forecasts . . Cross-Department Collaboration: Work closely with other departments to ensure alignment between financial goals and business operations.. . . Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or equivalent certification is a plus). . . Experience: o Minimum of 2+ years of experience in accounting or finance . . . QuickBooks Online experience . . Advanced Excel experience . . . Strong knowledge of accounting, financial reporting, and accounting regulations. .
