This role offers the opportunity to lead high-impact fundraising initiatives that directly fuel life-changing research and advocacy. You’ll work with passionate volunteers, corporate partners, and donors to grow engagement and revenue through signature events and community outreach. With a focus on building lasting relationships, you will create meaningful connections that inspire generosity and drive measurable results. The position combines strategic planning with hands-on event execution, offering a dynamic environment where no two days are the same. You’ll play a central role in expanding regional programs and strengthening community presence, all while advancing a mission that changes lives. This is a remote role with local travel and occasional visits to Indianapolis for meetings and training.. . Accountabilities:. . Develop and execute revenue growth plans for assigned fundraising events, ensuring year-over-year increases in participation and donations.. . Build and maintain strong relationships with individual donors, corporate sponsors, and community partners, with a focus on cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship.. . Recruit, engage, and manage volunteer leaders and committees to drive event success and deepen community impact.. . Secure and retain corporate teams, table hosts, gala guests, and mid-level donors, implementing tailored engagement strategies to maximize giving.. . Design and host cultivation activities and audience development initiatives to inspire ongoing donor involvement.. . Represent the mission at community events, building awareness and fostering support for programs and initiatives.. . Manage budgets, timelines, and key performance metrics for assigned events while ensuring alignment with organizational strategies.. . . 3–5 years of successful fundraising experience, preferably in large-scale events such as walks or galas, with proven revenue responsibilities over $500k.. . Strong track record in donor cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship, with the ability to grow both corporate and individual pipelines.. . Experience engaging and motivating volunteer leaders and committees.. . Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of inspiring action and representing the mission to diverse audiences.. . Highly organized, with strong time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines under pressure.. .
